Train with us
Bring HaHaHelps to your organisation
We train facilitators and teams to deliver HaHaHelps with confidence, consistency, and care — so youth can access meaningful psychosocial support through comedy.
HaHaHelps is designed to be delivered by the people who already support young people in their communities — youth workers, educators, facilitators, and programme staff. Through structured training and ongoing support, your team learns how to run sessions that are engaging, trauma-sensitive, and aligned with clear psychosocial and socioemotional development goals.
What Training Includes
Facilitator pathway
Structured training, real practice, ongoing support
2-day core training: improv foundations, facilitation, and psychosocial goals
Supervised practice during initial delivery
Guidance on leading reflection and group discussion
Monthly group supervision
Ongoing fidelity and quality checks
Facilitators are trained not only in delivering improv activities, but in guiding reflection — helping youth connect the experience of each activity to real-life situations in a safe and supportive way.
Facilitators are not expected to master delivery in two days — skills are developed through practice, feedback, and ongoing support

How it Works
Step 1 — Initial conversation
We learn about your organisation, the youth you support, and your goals.
Step 2 — Training
Your team completes the core training and begins supported delivery.
Step 3 — Implementation
Facilitators run HaHaHelps sessions within your existing programmes or spaces.
Step 4 — Ongoing support
We provide supervision, check-ins, and tools to maintain quality and strengthen impact over time.
Who this is for
HaHaHelps is designed for organisations working with youth aged 10–17 facing adversity, including:
Residential care organisations
Community-based youth programmes
Schools and after-school programmes
NGOs and social service organisations
Why this model works
Traditional services are often difficult to access or engage with.
HaHaHelps creates a low-barrier, engaging entry point — where young people can build confidence, connection, and emotional skills through play, rather than pressure.
By training your existing staff, the programme becomes embedded within environments where youth already feel safe and supported. This makes it:
Sustainable
Scalable
Delivered by trusted adults
Adaptable across contexts
We don’t just deliver sessions — we build the capacity for organisations to deliver them independently.
Testimonials
“It’s been a good help, unlocking the talent in our children. Building the self esteem. Building the confidence in them. Helped them to discover/think of comedy as a career. Helped them to discover themselves.”
“I was part of the HaHaHelps facilitator training and I enjoyed also participating. I saw kids who were very down and who could not open up... then open up in doing acts of comedy and doing team groups and group work, and things that are able to make them feel free and be teenagers again. I think comedy is a very good therapeutical means for young people that go through trauma or come from difficult backgrounds, for them to look at things in a different way and to open up.”
